Get Involved: Support At Risk Youth
Camp Oakland in Oxford, MI, offers a variety of ways for people to contribute to our programs. Your tax-deductible donation, regardless of size, makes a difference and helps us fulfill our mission of giving every child who comes through our doors a chance at succeeding. By participating in our Gift of the Month Club, your gift will send a powerful message to the kids in our care. It will tell them they are valued, that people in the community care about them, and that they are not forgotten.
Volunteer
Camp Oakland could not exist without the hard work and dedication of community members who volunteer their time to help us in our mission. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available. Do you have a group that would like to come to our main campus for a day and help with painting or landscaping? Do you have a hobby or skill that you would like to teach to the kids in our programs? Do you want to help at our Annual Golf Outing or assist with our Annual Campaign mailings? No matter what your interest is, Crossroads for Youth can find a way to put your time and talents to good use.

It is so important to help this at-risk population. Data shows that the youth who leave Camp Oakland with a G.E.D. or diploma have a less that 10% chance at recidivating (re-offending). Our mission is to help these youth get the education, therapies, and rehabilitation they need to be successful in their lives. By providing structure, building trust, and equipping these youth with skills and resources; we are confident that we can and will make a positive impact of their lives.
